Pasteles is a delightful dessert shop in a bright and colorful open space. When you enter the shop area, you will be greeted by displays of pastries, cakes, chocolates, and more. The space is modern and artistic, with a series of three round tables of varying heights front and center. These three tables serve as displays for all of the desserts the shop offers. One of the highlights of Pasteles are the three chocolate fountains that are present on the table! You can indulge in the dark, milk, or white chocolate fountains - there are marshmallows and strawberries that are already placed on skewers for you to choose from, and you can dip them in the flowing chocolate.
The table also has a selection of macarons, donuts, and other desserts. Bowls of gummy worms and other candy are placed throughout the area, and jars of cotton candy are also available.
If nothing on the tables catches your eye, you can head over the counter to admire the display of fine pastries and other treats. Here you can order a variety of treats that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth before or after you are satisfied with main course food at the rest of Hyatt Ziva Cancun's restaurants. The servers working there often wear bright colorful wigs in shades such as pink or purple, adding to the whimsical atmosphere of the shop.
Pasteles is located on the lobby floor. While the menu may vary from day to day, the quality and bright and exciting atmosphere always stays the same!
One of the items within the restaurant that is sure to attract your attention is the multi-tiered chocolate fountains! Make sure you don’t miss them - if you do, they’re located on the display tables in the center of the room.
The dress code at Pasteles is dry casual - at minimum, you must be wearing a cover up and a dry swimsuit. Shoes are also required.
