Saasil Bar is the beautiful and elegant lobby bar at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. The decor is heavily inspired by Mayan heritage and culture, with the geometric design elements and other decor influenced by indigenous art. The Saasil Bar has standard bar seating, but there are also couches and comfy seats both indoor and out.
At Saasil Bar you can order martinis or other cocktails. The Key Lime Martini includes vanilla gin, malibu rum, and lime juice. The Mezcatini is a great option if you would like to try something with a smokier flavor - it includes mezcal, triple sec, cranberry juice, and lime juice.
The bar also has other cocktails on the menu. The Kir Royale is a sparkling wine and cassis liqueur drink, garnished with an orange twist. The Cadillac Margarita is a delicious drink that is made extra special due to the fact that it utilizes aged tequila. Aged tequila tends to have a sweeter and smoother flavor, and the Hyatt Ziva Cancun has an extensive tequila collection.
If you are travelling with children or teens, it’s important to note that the Saasil Bar is an 18+ venue.
The dress code at Saasil Bar varies throughout the day. If you are visiting for lunch, smart casual dress is required, which requires long sleeved shirts, dress shorts, dress sandals or shoes for men, and dress sandals and dresses or jumpsuits for women. Dinner requires resort formal, so feel free to get dressed up if you’re visiting in the evening!
